For as long as I can remember, I’ve always loved creating things and working with my hands. Growing up, if I wasn’t working on or creating something, I was drawing up fake house plans for fun. I knew building a career out of what I naturally loved was something I was going to do.

In pursuit of that dream, I attended Shawsheen Tech in Billerica choosing carpentry as my trade. It was the best thing I could have done because there, I connected with my first co-op job for a remolding company: I learned how to frame, install kitchens, run residential job sites, and more.

For almost 5 years, I worked for a remodeling company that mainly focused on interior work like kitchens and bathrooms. With every project, I learned more skills and was given additional responsibility. Finish carpentry became my specialty and I totally fell in love with it.

In 2019, I had an amazing opportunity to work under a talented luxury interior designer. Under her tutelage, I honed my design skills.

Being exposed to the Boston Design Center so young set the bar high for each of my design projects.
